Beverly Jean Giles, born on February 20, 1934 in Baker Oregon, passed peacefully on the evening of March 20, 2021 surrounded by the love of her family. Bev was a dedicated nurse who enjoyed caring for others, something she continued to enjoy long after retirement. She was active in her church serving on the Altar Guild, singing in the choir, and volunteering at most church events. Bev was also very passionate about her family. She loved talking about them and sharing pictures with all her friends. Bev was the designated hostess for all family holidays and gatherings and always made sure everyone had a great time. She was also an outstanding cook who was famous for her chocolate chip cookies and fruit cakes.

Beverly is survived by her children Mark Giles, Lorie Hansen, and Theresa Anderson; grandchildren Jessie Nordquist, Johnny Hansen, Eva Tully-Giles, Hannah Tully-Giles, and Ida Tully-Giles; and great-grandchildren Gabriella Nordquist and Franklin Nordquist. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Josephine Miller; son Michael William Giles; husband The Rev. Frank J. Giles; brother and sister-in-law Bill and Joy Miller; and grandson Steven Jay Giles.

Beverly was known for her welcoming spirit and quick wit. She is loved and adored by so many and we rejoice knowing she is in Heaven. A small family service will be held on April 1, 2021 at Mt. Tahoma National Cemetery with a large Celebration of Life to occur August 2021.
