Vivian G Tolley, Born October 25, 1926, in Tomah, Wisconsin. She passed away peacefully on September 02, 2022. She was the rock of the family, always offering an abundance of wisdom and guidance. Her “superpower” was her ability to listen without judging and knowing what to say. She was always happy with a dash of sass and spunk. She came to Washington, State when she was 8 years old with her mother and stepfather and brother Tommy. She worked at Boeing for 36 years as a riveter and a dispatch clerk.

She loved to travel and made many road trips back to Wisconsin to visit her father and relatives. She made the best lemon meringue pie ever. She loved to read, go to garage sales, talk on the telephone, and visit people. Holidays were an incredibly special time for her, the most important thing for her was family and friends and time spent with them. She loved to go where there was music and she could bust a move on the dance floor while listening to the band playing music.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three children: Darlene, Darrel, and Lonnie. Seven grandchildren, brother Tommy and great-grandkids. She was preceded in death by her daughter Laura. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.

Or you can smile because she has lived

You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back

Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left

Your heart can be empty because you can’t see her

Or you can be full of the love that you shared

You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday

Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday

You can remember her and only that she is gone

Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back

Or you can do what she would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
